Nurturing the Seeds of Innovation
If innovation is defined as a change that creates and adds value, and provides a competitive advantage here and now, where does innovation grow and thrive? Melinda Richter will share how she has worked to create these places that put forth a new model of innovation, providing big company, capital-efficient infrastructures for early stage companies and making success faster, cheaper and easier. Showcasing a case study on her collaborative work with Johnson & Johnson's recently opened Janssen Labs, Richter will also share examples of her successes with the San Jose BioCenter and the Environmental Business Cluster-one of the first cleantech incubators established in the U.S.
